Named after Northumberlands naval hero, this cheese is moulded and washed in Newcastle brown ale as it matures. Develops an orange rind over a smooth yellow paste. The flavour is full and mellow with a distinctive lingering ale aftertaste. Not suitable for vegetarians and is unpasteurised. Made on a site that handles nuts.
