Epoisses de Bourgogne is a soft cow's milk cheese produced by Jacques Hennart in the village Epoisses, France. Commonly called Epoisses, the cheese has a creamy, chewy and firm texture and a distinctive red-orange colour. Despite its pungent smell, this cheese has a spicy and salty flavour. Not for the faint-hearted! Not suitable for vegetarians and is unpasteurised.
