Raclette is a semi-hard cheese made on both sides of the French and Swiss Alps. It has a distinctive, pleasant smell and has a creamy texture very similar to Gruyere. The flavour of Raclette is relatively sweet and nutty. Raclette is also the name of a very popular Swiss dish where the cheese is melted with a special Raclette machine or in front of a fire and then scraped onto dinner plates. This is a very tasty traditional cheese favoured by all ages. Not suitable for vegetarians and is pasteurised. ALLERGENS IN CAPITALS - MILK.
