Emmental is a traditional hard cow's milk cheese produced in central Switzerland. The aroma of Emmental is sweet and delicately nutty. It is considered to be one of the most difficult cheeses to be produced because of it's complicated hole-forming fermentation process. This cheese tastes even more delicious when complemented with a flavoursome chutney. Unpasteurised and not suitable for vegetarians.
